The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure across Data Center, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and security perimeter. This includes deep hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms, routing protocols, BGP, VRF, firewalls, load balancers, DNS/DHCP services, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate can lead complex network projects, perform advanced troubleshooting, and support a multi-tenant environment
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable Data Center and Enterprise network architectures.
- Architect routing solutions using BGP, VRF, and route segregation.
- Manage Cisco Nexus platforms including SUP and line card replacements.
- Configure VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRF, HSRP/VRRP.
- Lead complex L2/L3 troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Manage and configure Fortinet Firewalls (policies, SD-WAN, VPN, HA).
- Configure F5 LTM/ASM and VMware NSX ALB (AVI) load balancers.
- Manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM.
- Oversee MPLS, SD-WAN, and ISP connectivity.
- Configure monitoring in SolarWinds, Dynatrace, and Aria Ops for Networks.
- Provide L3 support for critical incidents.
- Prepare detailed Change Requests for hardware and routing changes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus 5K/7K/9K including SUP and line card replacement.
- Expert knowledge in BGP (policy, communities, filtering) and VRF (route leaking, segmentation).
- Deep expertise in L2/L3 protocols and advanced routing.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls, F5 LTM/ASM, and VMware ALB.
- Knowledge of Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
- Strong troubleshooting using Wireshark/tcpdump.
- Ability to lead complex network maintenance and migrations.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
- 7–12 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE4–NSE6, F5 CA/CTS, ITIL Foundation.
