VaporVM is looking for an experienced Senior IT Security Operations Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, and enterprise security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage **SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP**, and security monitoring tools
• Investigate security incidents and perform **threat hunting**
• Support **incident response** and vulnerability management activities
• Optimize security tools, detection rules, and automation playbooks
• Prepare incident reports, security metrics, and compliance documentation

### 🛡️ Required Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in SOC / IT Security Operations
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and endpoint security
• Strong knowledge of incident response, vulnerability management, and log analysis
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AWS/Azure/GCP environments
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence, malware, phishing, and ransomware
• Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting is an advantage

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications: Security+, CEH, Splunk, GIAC, OSCP, or equivalent.
