Network & Security Engineer

🚨 Urgent Hiring | Network & Security Engineer | Abu Dhabi, UAE | Immediate Joiners Preferred 🚨
We are currently looking for a Network & Security Engineer for a prestigious client project in Abu Dhabi.
📍 Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
📅 Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable based on project requirements and performance)
⏳ Availability: Immediate to Maximum 15 Days Notice Period
💼 Employment Type: Contract
Required Skills & Experience:
✅ 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Network & Security Operations
✅ Strong understanding of Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, Wired & Wireless Networks
✅ Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls
✅ Experience with Palo Alto and/or Juniper Security Solutions
✅ Knowledge of Firewalls, Proxy, NAC/ClearPass, IDS/IPS
✅ Experience in configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills for network and security incidents (L1/L2 Support)
✅ Experience with security monitoring, threat prevention, and incident response
✅ Familiarity with ITIL processes, Change Management, and Enterprise Support Environments
Additional Skills Highly Preferred:
🔹 Strong fundamentals of networking concepts
🔹 Understanding of Network Topologies (Bus, Star, Ring, Mesh, Hybrid)
🔹 Knowledge of OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, Subnetting, NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPNs
🔹 Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues from Layer 1 through Layer 7
🔹 Good understanding of switching ports, trunking, access ports, and network design fundamentals
Preferred Certifications:
🎓 CCNA / CCNP
🎓 Fortinet NSE / FCP
🎓 Palo Alto or Juniper Certifications (Preferred)
